EMBRAER 170/190 PROGRAM

Since the beginning of the program in 1999, Akaer is working on the development of the EMBRAER 170/190 aircraft as technical partner of Embraer.

The main aircraft segments under Akaer’ s responsibility are Center Fuselage II (CFII) including Aft and Rear Plugs for EMBRAER 190/195, Center Fuselage I (CFI –subcontracted by French company Latécoère) and Wing to Fuselage Fairing (WFF) including Ventral Speed Brakes. In addition, Akaer provides full design and engineering services (structure and system installation) to implement the Spin Recovery Parachute System (Tailchute) for the EMBRAER 170/190 Aircraft inside the prototypes Tail Cone, for flight test purposes.

Structural conception, stress analysis and optimization, preliminary and detail design for production, system installation drawings, configuration control, technical reports and all engineering related tasks are being fully accomplished by Akaer including support to manufacturing, assembling, tests and certification of those segments.

Akaer was also subcontracted by Latécoère to perform part of the package of Center Fuselage III (CFIII) for both EMBRAER 170 and EMBRAER 190 versions.
