Akaer and two other Brazilian associated companies participated in the CLA Alcantara Launching Center construction for the Brazilian Space Agency. Akaer was the responsible company for the complete development of the VLS (Satellite Launching Vehicle) Lauching Pad, which includes the VLS, Mobile Integration Platform, the Umbilical Tower and the Launching Base.

Based on a preliminary design defined by the customer,main Akaer activities were:
