The innovative and unique project in the country will allow Akaer to work on a prototype for the development of a small eVTOL UAV. The objective is to demonstrate the technical viability of a cargo transport aircraft using clean energy propulsion. It is also Akaer ‘s focus to evaluate the hybrid propulsion alternative through an ethanol generator. This part of the project, however, is awaiting a source of funding.
Based on the technology that will be developed with the AKR-H2 project, Akaer intends to develop a family of unmanned aircraft for cargo transport, focused on civil use, but which could also serve for other applications such as humanitarian and military.
Headquartered in the municipality of São José dos Campos, in São Paulo, Brazil, and commercial offices in Turkey and Portugal, Akaer has more than three decades of experience in the development of cutting-edge technologies for the Defense, Aerospace and Industry 4.0 sectors, with clients in Brazil and abroad.
